Our leather sleigh bell straps are made by the Bevin Brothers Bell Company. Bevin Brothers, a sixth generation family run company in East Hampton, Connecticut has been making bells for America since 1832. For example, it was the Bevin Brothers who made the mechanical bells which, for nearly seventy years, signaled the start and finish of every trading day on the New York Stock Exchange as well as the beginning and end of each round of many professional boxing matches. It was the Bevin Brothers who made the mechanical bells which used to alert children across America to the arrival of the Good Humor ice cream truck on their block and it was the Bevin Brothers who produced the bells which helped Clarence the Angel earn his wings in the beloved Christmas movie, It’s a Wonderful Life.
Kasumisou Gallery is very proud to share this iconic American product with our customers.
