This 4 1/2 x 6 1/4 inch notecard features an image of Harvey Curranhall Plains Bison. Harvey’s story is on the back of the card. In the words of the artist
Harvey is a bit of gypsy roaming the countryside together with his buddies and with no particular destination in mind. Often Stella AlmaGemela joins the herd. Often, as the herd roams the North Rim Plateau, Harvey and Stella like to pause for a picnic by the side of Bright Angel Creek. There, at the water’s edge the pair would bite and giggle and plan and daydream until, one day, a sliver became lodged deep in Harvey’s hoof. That sliver cause Harvey great pain and Stella great worry. The full story of this romantic couple and how they overcame that crippling sliver is printed on the back of the card. The artist finishes the story with this bit of wisdom. “Life can be so fragile. The tiniest thing can bring one down in a moment. Fortunately, the tiniest thing can also lift one up.”
The inside of the card is blank.
